l947

There is a small business in Bad Wildungen in which tyres are vulcanised.

1949

Production of rubber balls and balloons begins. At the end of the year an employee has the idea to produce foamed rubber shoulder pads already available in America.

1950

As a result of this idea a firm called Korrekta is started up at the beginning of the year. The name is derived from production of the shoulder pads which act as corrective body products made of latex foam.
Production of these latex products begins in May in the deserted buildings of Henschel Flugmotorenbau in Wega.

1951

Connections established with Farbenfabriken Bayer. The decision is made to start production of rigid polyurethane foams. At the same time, construction of the first atomisation plant for Moltopren begins.

1952

the factory is taken over by the industrial holdings company of the Quandt Group and the company is renamed Correcta-Werke GmbH.

1958

In May the Quandt Group transfers the Correcta-Werke GmbH shares to the majority shareholder den of Metzeler AG.

1963

In the night from 15 to 16 February Correcta-Werke GmbH in Wega is burned down to its foundation alls. With the reconstruction, a modern polyethylene film production facility is simultaneously set up in the Ylopan works in Odershausen and the Correcta am Biedensteg works are built for polystyrene production.
An extra works is set up in Bad Wildungen-Ense for the complete administration. These four firms form the Correcta Group until the beginning of the 1970s.

1968

Invention of the supporting frame (for baths and shower trays). A sales representative of the firm
Kaldewei has the idea of a supporting frame. The idea is taken up by Correcta and the product is developed ready for the market.

1969

Sale of the supporting frame starts. The first supporting frames leave the factory and reach their purchasers. 
   
      
   

1972

The first large supporting frame project. With the Olympic village in Munich, for the first time ever, every bath/shower tray in a large project is installed using Poresta supporting frames.
 

1975

Bayer AG buys out the shares in the Kaus Group.
The Biedensteg and Wega works are both divided up according to the sales structure of Metzeler AG. The Wega works is integrated in Metzeler Schaum GmbH, the Biedensteg works along with all other insulation material activities of the Bayer Group are assigned to Reinhold & Mahla in Mannheim.
 

1983

The Biedensteg works becomes the parent company of Reinhold & Mahla and changes its name to Vereinigte Kunststoff AG Reinhold & Mahla Werk Correcta.

1985

The works becomes an independent subsidiary of Bayer AG. The company is now called Correcta once again.

1992

On 1 October, Correcta is bought by the Illbruck family, Leverkusen.

1998

Correcta is incorporated in the illbruck Group as an independent business unit.

2000

Correcta GmbH is renamed illbruck Sanitärtechnik GmbH

illbruck Sanitärtechnik successfully introduces system products for wet room showers to the market.

2002

Acquisition of Ferroplast GmbH, Monheim, specialist for pre-wall installation systems and underframes/legs for the installation of baths and shower trays.

2005

illbruck SanTec AG Switzerland with registered offices in Hägendorf is founded as the sanitary engineering sales company.
the illbruck Group is split up. illbruck Sanitärtechnik GmbH continues to be run independently. Ms Sabina Illbruck receives 100 % of the shares.
illbruck Sanitärtechnik GmbH presents itself at the turn of the year with a completely new corporate design (CD).
Apart from redesign of the logo and the complete business office furnishings the internet site also gets a new layout and a new domain.

2006

Most famous Year in the history of the firm- illbruck Sanitärtechnik is one of the fastest growing and profitable Compagnies in the sanitary market.

Internationalization and floorlevel shower continuing the increase.

2007

Opening of another foreign country  - illbruck AT in Salzburg.

2008

40 years Poresta supporting frame.

Sucessful adoption with the new generetation of floorlevel showersystems. With Poresta Slot and BFR illbruck presented new and innovative Products to the whole sale.

illbruck enlarges the french market and the field services is installed in whole France. In february illbruck prestened the products first tim at the biggest exibithion "ideo bain" in Paris.

2009

With Poresta Slot illbruck won the red dot design award 2009.
